I created a hut building site. How does it get to be a full blown hut?

That's a newbie question. Thus it's to be asked in the corresponding thread.

"Attack" it with the secondary fire mode of the hammer. A text message will tell you which item from your inventory has been used or which ones you still need.

Edit: Ooops, I didn't notice this is the forum for Stranded 1. So forget the stuff about the newbie questions thread, you didn't do anything wrong.
And about the hammer: here it's just plainly the left mouse button, not the right one as in Stranded 2.
