I found out that bot name "PlayWithOculus" is an idea.

So I connected my meta quest2 to pc and run cs2d with Rift. The thing is that all controller buttons recognized as mouse1 and I can only use vr glasses and my pc keyboard, I can also use controller as a mouse to aim but would be better to set joystick to movement, some pad keys to reloading and drop etc..

any ideas?
Btw the game looks good with 3d experimental in vr

X360ce helps you to fake foreign input as XBOX360 device - it helps for all games that have poor gamepad support. I think you had to put the x360.exe into game.exe folder or something.

Steam offers help for 3rd party peripheral devices (Big Picture Mode) with user-created lists for all kinds of input devices. There is a chance someone already mapped the controls for oculus-joysticks on CS2D for you there. BPM often helped me with foreign hardware (E.G: Fake XBOX controller with inverted analog axis/wrong button layout, not detected).

Using both solutions parallel is not recommended.

Can you use your oculus-joysticks on other software?
SNES Emulator, for example, lets you bind any key to the specific emulator key - does your oculus-joystick work there flawless?

Nonetheless, I think a generic gamepad (X360) is better suited in both ways, gameplay-ergonomy and solving this problem faster.

Does it look better than a normal monitor (nothing fancy, 24" fullHD for example)?
In my eyes you gain no 3D effect but add a lot of discomfort.

X360ce is used by me to handle cheap Wildberries joysticks and worked well to play PS games. Somehow it just lost in my memory to try it out. Thank you for reminding me!

I've tried to set steam vr options but I found no options for every button/joystick axis to manipulate keyboard key pressing. Moreover my pc is kinda low specs to handle steam vr which took many performance just for one game.

About other emulators, well: I will try to download some nes, sets emulators.

About 3d experimental: it still looks flat like irl, cuz the game has no specified options for that. But somehow the image is kinda weird due to the quality of the oculus with pc. I never tried good maps designed for 3d, I guess I need to try user Masea's outlast II mod to check it. He's only made it well with 3d tiles atm

You can set any window resolution, which is good to make maps, the image is kinda uncomfortable yeah, cuz cs2d has no such feature. But it look a bit better than common sight on monitor with 3d tiles experimental.

/sry my English bruh
